Eva was a wonderful presence to have on campus and so educational! Their presentation was engaging, fun, and super informative. I learned a lot more than I thought I would and can't wait to have them back in the future!

Keynote: Sex Ed Beyond the Books

Most student start college with more questions than answers when it comes to sexuality, relationships, and sexual health.

Through the lens of queer & trans inclusivity, pleasure-focus, coupled with Eva's academic experience, they create a safe and lighthearted environment to learn and gain essential tools for building healthy relationships and sexual health at college.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learning communication tools to create a culture of consent

  • Shame-free and practical information about managing sexual health

  • Empowering information around pleasure and anatomy

  • LGBTQIA+ inclusive language and information around sex and relationships

  • Supportive information around how to set boundaries and explore dating and relationships with care

I could not speak more highly of Eva and their program, "Sex Ed Beyond the Books." The program was highly impactful and Eva was extremely engaging!

The program was a fun mix of providing information and engaging the student audience, which really allowed for the students to take stake in what they were learning. Even students who felt they had solid knowledge on inclusive sex-ed walked away learning something, making this a perfect program for students no matter the knowledge base they came into the program with.

Eva was also such a joy to work with throughout the process of bringing them to our campus! I would recommend Eva and this program to anyone looking to provide students with an inclusive, holistic, sex-ed program.

I just wanted to say thank you SO much for leading a kickass workshop last night!!!

I was so excited with the turnout, the engagement in the chat, and the questions at the end - I could tell just how valuable it was for folks to have that space.

Personally, it was so energizing for me be able to receive and participate in sex ed in such a radically inclusive way, and I'm sure that was the case for so many folks there, too. I'm so grateful for the work you do!

What People Are Saying

Eva has been a guest speaker at our yearly Pride Panel during Pride Month 2023. Engaging Eva as one of our guest speaker has been one of our best educational investment yet. With their science-based approach and a sensitivity towards LGBTQIA+ representation and inclusion, Eva has passed on invaluable inputs for reflection to our team. Our team especially appreciated the advice for parenting kind and respectful kids, and defined this panel “the best so far”. I hugely recommend working with Eva!
